Rosacea / flushing / facial redness treatment report from: nell

Details: 3 treatments, whole face + spot treatments. So far, so good... the smaller/newer veins on the bridge of the nose and cheeks are almost invisible. Larger veins around the nose are more resistant. Doc fairly aggressive on those ones as they were quite prominent and dark in colour. *Very* dark, hard-to-cover bruising along those veins, which disappeared within a week and a half after my second appt. (Just had another appt. three days ago -- waiting for resulting bruises to abate.) Difficult though, to stay out of the sun in the spring -- anyone know what will happen if you can't maintain the anti-sun vigilance required after laser? Overall, very pleased with results so far. General tone of face is much improved -- I now look like a healthy person. Not the perfect skin of a twelve-year-old, but I look much, much better than I did. Suggestions for persons attempting to hide bruises: you can't, really, if you get them. High-pigment concealer will soften it, somewhat. Wait at least a week before you panic.
