Rosacea / flushing / facial redness treatment report from: dee Would they recommend this: Yes TreatmentType: Other, view reports of all Other treatments Details: I had laser surgery on 1/17/02 for vascular Rosacea involving both cheeks, extending from eye lids to chin and my nose. I was treated with the Pulse dye laser and have already seen great results. The laser sugery was not fun and actually hurt a lot especially around the eyes and nose and upper lip. At the time I was going threw it I almost said stop! I am so happy now that I didnt stop as I have had great results. The first 10 days I looked like someone had taken a cigarette and burned me over and over. I had black, blue, gray and greeen spots all over my face and it felt like alligator skin. All I did was take asprin for pain and used ice for swelling and an ointment to prevent infection. Once my face started to heal it went fast and I now look better without make-up than I did before with make-up on. I was told I would have no down time and this was pretty much true but with having so much done I looked pretty awful and did stay inside my house for about 8 days. I wouldnt let anyone see me...maybe I am just odd that way. Anyhow I would highly reccomend this to anyone who has the same problem. One of the best parts is that I ate spicy food 2 days after and didnt get all red like usuall. Its truly a miracle for me!
