It seems to me that if you don't keep topped up with another treatment at least every six months, you start to really lose the benefits. Don't think that the cost will just be an initial one-off -- the benefits (which can be significant) are not permanent and it's unlikely that you'll be able to accept drifting back to your pre-treatment state. As an approximation (I found it difficult to get accurate ideas about cost when initially researching this on the web) expect to spend £1500 for a full course plus another £500 per year thereafter.
