Rosacea / flushing / facial redness treatment report from: Andy Would they recommend this: Yes TreatmentType: Photoderm, view reports of all Photoderm treatments Details: I live in Sydney, but recently spent time in Adelaide for work, and was recommended Dr. Sheridan by my Sydney dermatologist. I'm 32 and have suffered with acne rosacea for about two years; manifest as bright red flushing, fine telangiectasias and the occasional inflammatory 'pimple'. Dr. Sheridan was excellent and very thorough. After discussing preventative measures, and settling the 'inflammatory component' of my acne rosacea with a short burst of antibiotic tablets and Rozex cream, he treated the background redness and telangiectases with a course of IPL therapy. Dr Sheridan explained that most people require 2-4 sessions at approximately monthly intervals to achieve a good result. I noticed a good fading after the first treatment. I only required a total of 3 sessions and am very pleased with the results. All treatments were performed by Dr Sheridan himself - a specialist dermatologist.
