Details: By early 2003 I was at the end of my tether with moderate rosacea. I had consulted lead NHS Consultant dermatologists whom gave help for my papules and pustiles by oral therapies but I needed needed something more for the redness. Neither did I relish having to take ongoing oral antibiotics. After going on a booked appointment at a clinic in Harley street, and being asked to return to see the Dr whom needed to assess me before one of the nurses would deliver treatment, and after going to another clinic by a different company where I received some form of laser treatment I came across testimonials about Danbury Woodford Medical Centre! Thank God!! I had 3 treatments in 2003, spaced about a month apart and finishing about May of that year. Yes it stung, but who cares! the psychological pain of dealing with my rosacea was worse to me! Since, I have recently visited (May 2005) and had a top up treatment. I am going to have 2 more. My skin started to get a little blotchy and red occasionally of late hence this return. I want to keep it at bay. I have been advised by Dr Patterson that after these treatments another option would be to have a'top-up' annually instead of a possible 3 every couple of years or so. Rosacea can be so socially debilitating for sufferers, I can't believe how lucky I have felt since 2003 when I came across the clinic. The atmosphere is also exceptionally nice and friendly.
