It started out with a slight flush and has since progressed to permanent redness with papules. I had 6 treatments with Dr. Patterson and although the treatment got rid of some of the veins on my cheeks and nose the redness and papules remain. I still flush bright red in the usual situations that we all know about. This is just to say to people don't save up for this very expensive treatment expecting a cure at the end of it. If you have early rosacea symptoms it may work for you. I thought whatever price it was worth it for clear skin. |Unfortunately it did not work for me, but one thing that most definitely works if any of you have occular rosacea is Jurlique Herbal Recovery Gel. I use it as a moisturiser all over my face and eyes and within a week it controlled my terrible eye problem. I had two permanent lumps on one eyelid, one of which was big and they went and haven't been back since and that was over two years ago, It got rid of all the symptoms of occular rosacea within days. It is a miracle, unfortunately it does not get rid of the redness or papules on my cheeks but It is a very good product and I would not use anything else. I have tried stopping using it and within days the awful eye problems came back.
